Integrasi Nilai Kearifan Lokal dalam Pembelajaran untuk Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter di SDN 04 kalicinta, Kotabumi

This study explores the integration of local wisdom values into elementary school learning as an effort to strengthen character education among students in SDN 04 Kalicinta, North Kotabumi. The research is motivated by the increasing concern over the decline in moral values among students due to the influence of globalization and the lack of contextual learning models. Using a qualitative case study approach, the study involved in-depth interviews, participant observations, and documentation with teachers, students, parents, and community leaders. The results revealed that the integration of local wisdom values such as guyub rukun, srawung, and tanggap ing sasmita significantly enhanced students' social sensitivity, discipline, collaboration, and respect for cultural traditions. These values were systematically embedded into thematic and contextual learning through storytelling, community-based projects, and culturally relevant learning materials. The study concludes that a learning model rooted in local culture not only strengthens student character but also fosters stronger school-community relationships and preserves cultural identity. The findings support the development of localized character education models as a replicable framework for rural schools with strong cultural backgrounds.
